Alexandra Vivelo, Ph.D.

I've published more than a dozen books for young readers and adults under pen names, and my stories and essays have appeared in journals and anthologies from 2004 to the present. A Rhysling nominee, Best of the Net nominee, and Nebula longlisted author, I’ve worked as an editor in nonfiction publishing and higher education, served as YA acquiring editor at a small publisher, and taught undergraduate writing courses at Boston University.

 

I've illustrated two children’s textbooks published by J. Weston Walch. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in art, I worked as a printing company’s in-house illustrator. My paintings and drawings have won awards and been exhibited internationally.
